Mission & Goals


Mission:

SMRCis an institution of the worldwide moravian church working in palestine . it contributes in securing alife in dignity for persons with intellectual disability through the provision of rchabilitation and traninig integration and inclusion awareness building and community mobilization on the basis of love dignity justice and equality


Goals:

- provide distinctive rehabilitation and training service to persons with intellectual disability regardless of disability level in Ramallah and Al Bireh district by the end of 2018.

-Raise the awareness of palestine community including families .individuals. institution and policy-makers on the rights and capacities of persons with intellectual disability by the end of 2018.

-strive to change local and national policies in accordance with the international convention on the rights of persons with disabilities and the palestinian law through the advocacy committe and partners by the end of 2018.

-reinforce cooperation and relations with local .Arab and international individuals and organization in palestine and abroad by the end of 2018 .

-develope the infrastucture of star mountain rehabilitation center by the end of 2018.

-Ensure financial sustainability of mountain rehabilitation center for the upcoming three 2016-2018
