Mission & Goals


Mission:

To focus on the leading role of Rawan Association in delineating and treating learning difficulties and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), which are universally recognized as atypical trends that have to be treated using professionally appropriate and specific programs and methods.Rawan Association aims to collaborate with official and civil institutions in order to provide the appropriate treatments for targeted children and integrate them in the community.


Goals:

:
To highlight the suffering of children with learning difficulties and ADHD and treat them. Protect their rights and work on preventing the spread of the problem, and decrease the numbers of children who suffer from this trend and remove all obstacles that impede their integration into mainstream schools with their typical peers.


Rawan's Goals:

1. Working on providing justice and equality for the targeted children within the society by spreading awareness about their problems through advocacy campaigns in schools, higher education institutions, and through reaching out to decision makers.
2. Capacity building of community and educational institutions regarding early detection of the targeted groups and protecting their rights and ensuring their inclusion into mainstream academic and social settings.
3. Developing and standardizing the required tools to measure and diagnose learning difficulties and ADHD.
4. Training and improving the skills of Rawan Association’s staff in working with the targeted children inside the organization and in other locations.
5. Developing and implementing projects, which provide Rawan Association and beneficiaries with sustainable financial support to help it continue with its mission.
6. Developing research projects to produce scientific data and statistics on the organization’s work and it’s effects on the targeted group in order to achieve the organization’s goals and improve services in the future.
