Mission & Goals


Mission:

“To provide preventive and therapeutic services in the field of mental health, particularly for the child and family, and generally for the local community. Additionally to pursue the development of knowledge, skills and experience of workers in this field, and conducting research through programs that meet the needs of the target groups in the best professional and scientific manner, thus aiming to participate in the development of mental health in the Palestinian society.”


Goals:

1-To provide therapeutic psychological, educational, and social intervention services for children and their families through a multi-disciplinary approach including psychiatry, psychology, special education, counseling, psycho-social intervention, and occupational therapy.
2-To improve the mental and social functioning of individuals who suffer from psychological disorders that affect their well-being.
3-To provide professional support for at-risk individuals and their families in an effort to prevent possible psychological disturbances.
4-To create a level of awareness for individuals through outreaching toward the local community.
5-To cooperate and network with other organizations that have interest in the child and family mental health in particular and the local community in general.
6-To provide training services for professionals and individuals of the local community.
7-To conduct and support studies and research in the field of mental health.
