Mission:

The Arab American University-Jenin (AAUJ) is committed to creating a learning environment in which students, faculty members and staff, realize their fullest potential through inquiry, freedom of thought, scientific research, and overall academic excellence to provide high-quality programs that fulfill the social and economic needs of local and regional communities.


Goals:

- Academic Excellence: Establish and implement a Quality Management and Enhancement system (QME) to be used by faculty deans, academic department chairs and administrative department heads to achieve maximum benefits to major stakeholders including: students, faculty and staff, and the community.
- Scientific Research: Promote scientific research involving faculty members and students by offering research start-up funds, encouraging and supporting external funding through incentives including financial and load reduction, expanding into graduate programs, and establishing collaboration with national and international institutions.
- Sustainability: AAUJ is committed to achieving financial independence through a balanced budget by increasing new student enrollment by expanding horizontally (more undergraduate programs) and vertically (graduate programs), establish revenue generating centers such as: consulting centers, specialized clinics, recreation facilities, university hospital, student dorms.
- The Community: To increase involvement with the Community by providing continuing education and training, cooperating industrial and business sectors to identify projects for mutual benefit and addressing the issues identified by the representatives of the community.
